Description: | Quebec Connection is a Montreal based electronic project exploring the Nordique side of the man-machine dichotomy; making conceptual electro that hits like a dusty disco-hammer.
Using vintage machines that created the sounds of science in the 1970s, Quebec Connection culls a wide spectrum of influences, pairing together early EBM, electro, new-wave and disco.
Quebec Connection’s first CD, "Bonjour Expo", released through ProtoMusik records, is a classy, teutonic-disco themed album, chronicling the golden days of Montreal’s Expo 67. "Bonjour Expo" comes in a tightly designed cardboard digipack and features wicked remixes by DMC Champion, DJ Mana, and Lowfish of Suction Records.
Quebec Connection's first 12" EP from the album is coming in Fall 2005, with extended dance mixes, and hard-hitting reworks by Bangkok Impact (Creme Organization) and The Horrorist (Things to Come)! Destined to be a classic that will command the dancefloor with authority!
