Born in Munich and shaped by time spent across Stuttgart, Berlin, and Amsterdam, Toobris has developed a sound that moves through groove, detail, and the unexpected. His productions embrace randomness as a defining force, letting shifting patterns, stripped-back structures, and sharp sound design collide into something minimal, playful, and full of character.
There’s a certain unpredictability in his music that keeps things alive: bouncy, intricate, slightly off-centre, and built to pull the room deeper with every turn.
On Saturday, July 18, Toobris makes his Ärder debut in Montreal, joined by Ärder resident Bianca Badita and Montreal local Ponsif.
