BIO // Ky est le nouveau projet de Ky Brooks, mieux connu comme chanteuse du
trio noise-punk Lungbutter. Avec les piliers de la musique weirdo James Goddard
(Skin Tone, Egyptian Cotton Arkestra), Mathieu Ball (Big | Brave), Robert Grieve
(Blastronaut) et Farley Miller (FeeFawFum, Shining Wizard), ils présentent Power
Is The Pharmacy, un album d'outsider artpunk cérébral et viscéral. Cette
collection de chansons émotionnellement électrisantes offre un mélange aigu
d'observation sociopolitique incisive et de tristesse spirituelle,
tourbillonnant à travers le désenchantement et le réenchantement.

Genital Shame, un groupe de black metal expérimental de Pittsburgh, PA, est le
projet individuel d'Erin Dawson. Passant d'une guitare trémolo lourdement
distordue et d'une batterie propulsive distante à une douce ambiance pop de
chambre, Genital Shame est un queering des traditions sonores et de la forme
musicale du black metal. C'est, selon les mots de Dawson, "une interrogation sur
la mesure dans laquelle on peut briser ces règles sans que ce soit autre chose".

noise-punk trio Lungbutter. Here, along with weirdo music mainstays James
Goddard (Skin Tone, Egyptian Cotton Arkestra), Mathieu Ball (Big | Brave),
Robert Grieve (Blastronaut) and Farley Miller (FeeFawFum, Shining Wizard), they
present Power Is The Pharmacy, an album of cerebral and visceral outsider
artpunk. This emotionally electrifying collection of songs delivers an acute
blend of incisive socio-political observation and spiritual sadness, swirling
through disenchantment and re-enchantment.

Genital Shame, an experimental black metal from Pittsburgh, PA, is the
one-person project of Erin Dawson. Veering from heavily distorted tremolo-picked
guitar and distant propulsive drums to gentle, bedroom pop ambience, Genital
Shame is a queering of the sonic traditions and musical form of black metal. It
is, in Dawson’s words, “an interrogation of how far you can get towards breaking
those rules without it being something else.”
