Celebrating the sound of disco and house, and the legacy of whacking—a queer dance style born in the 1970s Los Angeles underground scenes—Supernature creates a space where rhythm, resistance, and joy take center stage.
Local icons San Farafina, DJ Blackgold, and Paolo Askia will be behind the decks, serving up high-energy sets to keep the floor moving all night.
This year, the whacking battle is bigger than ever: 75 dancers from around the globe will compete, judged by an international panel: Archie Burnett (NYC), Mariana Benenge (Paris), and The Butcher (MTL).
