Qu'est-ce que le Sweet Spot?
C’est cette zone fragile entre l’intention de l’artiste et la manière dont son œuvre est perçue par l’auditeur. Sweet Spot, c’est aussi un moment où l’on invite quelques musicien·nes à présenter un morceau en public, dans un cadre d’écoute attentive, afin de recevoir des commentaires constructifs.
Lancé en 2024 par Pheek (JP Rémillard), l’événement a permis à plusieurs artistes émergents – souvent jamais entendus en public – de vivre une première expérience d’écoute partagée. Ce moment, parfois intimidant, se déroule toutefois dans une ambiance bienveillante, inclusive et chaleureuse. À travers échanges et retours techniques, JP poursuit un seul objectif : faire progresser les artistes.
Comment ça fonctionne?
Les artistes ont quelques semaines pour soumettre un morceau de leur choix. Celui-ci doit être terminé en 2025 et ne pas être signé sur un label. Notre équipe écoutera les soumissions et effectuera une sélection qui sera présentée lors de l’événement. Soumettre une pièce :

Et pendant la soirée?
Les artistes sélectionné·es seront contacté·es à l’avance, puis présenté·es un par un·e. Après chaque écoute, le public est invité à partager son ressenti. Tous les commentaires sont encadrés pour rester respectueux, utiles et constructifs. L’événement est gratuit et ouvert à toutes et tous!

Our first Sweet Spot event of 2025 will take place on June 13 at Osmo x Marusan.
What is Sweet Spot?
It’s that delicate zone between a musician’s intention and how their work is actually received by the listener. Sweet Spot is also an event where selected artists share one of their tracks in a public setting, with an attentive audience offering feedback after the listening session.
Launched in 2024 by Pheek (JP Rémillard), the event has become a platform for emerging artists—many of whom have never had the chance to be heard by a live audience. Though the experience can be intimidating, it all happens in a warm, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere.Through guided reflections and constructive technical feedback, JP’s main goal is to help artists grow.
How does it work?
Artists have a few weeks to submit a finished track of their choice. The track must be completed in 2025 and remain unsigned to a label.Our team will listen to all submissions and select a group of tracks to be presented at the event.Submit your track here:

What happens at the event?
Selected artists will be contacted in advance and introduced one by one. After each listening session, the audience is invited to share their impressions. All comments are moderated to ensure they are respectful and constructive.The event is free and open to all! |
