| Description: | Harsh Reality focuses mainly on booking shows for Ottawa, but has co-promoted events in many other cities and has worked on small Eastern Canadian tours. We tend to concentrate on industrial and experimental acts, but also work with a variety of underground electronic and dark techno musicians. We focus generally on club events as they are the most common, however we also book smaller sized raves as well as special events and locations. We are very much in touch with our markets and performers which gives us certain invaluable qualities that larger, more corporate agencies/companies lack. We have worked with the media and retailers in our relative area extensively which has allowed us to build up a very supportive and effective promotions network, allowing for better exposure and more direct marketing of events. On the completely boring side of things, we also are veterans at immigration and all the ‘fun’ paperwork that comes with bringing in out of town bands/performers.
