DJ EXT (bouncy techno) - Ottawa
[www.djext.ca] Kanibalz, CHC, High Amplitude

Since 2000, DJ EXT (Adam Raitanen) has been a fan of electronic music. Being exposed to it by his older brother in the early 90's, the progression from fan to DJ was natural for him. His love of energy and power behind hard techno & gabber helped him become one of the front runners of the Canadian gabber scene. He has played Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City and Phoenix, AZ. In 2005, DJ EXT started producing and has releases on the digi-label Spekulum Records. While doing fill-in slots on CKCU 93.1FM, Adam started spinning techno beats, which have since become a regular part of his musical influence. Having played alongside Julian Liberator and Dave the Drummer, Adam is showing no signs of slowing down. His sets are a fusion of classic acid and U.K. sounds, and modern hard German styles.

DJ HASHEK (funky techno) - Ottawa
Gunz & Bomz, Teknoturtle, High Amplitude

Producing electronica since the age of 14 and DJing since 1997, DJ HASHEK (Peter Stromer) has been one of Ottawa's leading techno djs. Known for his seamless 3-turntable mixing and his technical ability behind the decks, DJ HASHEK has played all over Ontario and Quebec, and headlined rave and club events in Arizona, Washington D.C., Massachusetts and New York. Although he first started with house and trance, techno is what impressed him most. Since 2000, he has been recognized for his techno sets, which are (not surprisingly) influenced by house and trance, but have always maintained a hard, techy edge. In 2001, he founded 'R.E.M.' - an electronica radio show on CHUO 89.1FM, which aired weekly for four years and continues every Friday at midnight as 'TTR' (Teknoturtle Radio). In his career, DJ HASHEK has played alongside Gaetano Parisio, Misstress Barbara, Manu le Malin, Laurent Ho, Christian Smith, DJ Preach and many more.

SUPERSONIC (ass-shakin' techno) - Ottawa
TTR CHUO 89.1FM, High Amplitude

DJ SUPERSONIC (Stephen Klump) began DJing in 1998. He got his start playing in a sketchy warehouse in Toronto and sharing a space in the Technologix studio. During this period, he produced Implicit Mondays, a mixed-format electronica internet radio show for [www.technologix.org.] In 2001, DJ SUPERSONIC moved to Sydney, Australia. There he helped create the "Kalide" - a collective dedicated to bringing twisted electronic music to indoor and outdoor venues. At the same time, Stephen faithfully produced a weekly internet radio show called 'Supersonic Adventures' on [www.beats.to.] In 2003, he came back to Canada. DJ SUPERSONIC's goals of his sound are psy-tech and tech-house - something for your mind and something for your behind!

DJ HIP HOP (old-school techno & breaks) - Ottawa
Project D, High Amplitude

DJ HIPHOP (Danny Gorny) is the reason there are many good events happening in Ottawa these days, and he is the brain behind High Amplitude. With his choice music selection, he will remind you of the good ol' days with a nice blend of old-school techno and breakbeat. He is an up-and-coming DJ and a top-notch promoter, and is very excited to spread the techno sound to the older crowd.

Free before 11pm, $4 after.
Nice draft selection / $3 bar rail before midnight / WOW!
