Philgood played his first gigs as a kid while staying with his aunt and uncle in Hong Kong. Back in Montreal, he set to work on his own parties, booking acts like Autechre and The Orb. He's no slouch behind the turntables, either: Richie Hawtin and Green Velvet are just a couple of the A-list record-rubbers he's shared the bill with, and it's not hard to see why.
This Friday, the consummate crowd-pleaser reaches deep into his record collection for an unmissable night of forgotten faves and future classics. Miss it at your own peril!
