Poontz (Cristobal Urbina) is a prototype that was never meant for mass production. This cherubic, chiba-loving child of the night is soft-spoken, but carries a big rhythm stick (did you get Ian Dury reference? Be the first to tell us what song it's from and win a free drink this Friday!) We won't bore you any longer with our purple prose, suffice to say that he's a regular at Laika and Blizzart, and has thrice held court at Stereo, home to North America's greatest soundsystem. This Friday, Poontz has promised us a loving spoonful of disco, more disco, and Nepalese throat-singing – we haven't been this excited since David Lynch started doing his daily weather report (www.davidlynch.com).
…and for those of you who care (if you don't, then you're a jerk), it's Leyenda's birthday. Attendance is mandatory for anyone who knows what this means!
