A GROUP ART SHOW of the Best of Ottawa Artists
Mushfiq HashimiSaid "Mushfiq" Hashimi is a master of Indian classical music, an accomplished painter and calligrapher, and a teacher of fine arts. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kabul where he studied Fine Arts, and a Master’s degree in Music from Holland’s renowned Rotterdam Conservatory. Since settling in Ottawa, he established a Fine Arts Centre, which includes a teaching school, a studio and a gallery. Mushfiq Hashimi Arts Centre, is located on Bank Street (near the Billings Bridge Shopping Centre) and offers a range of fine arts lessons to groups or individuals. The gallery offers exhibits and sales of the work of various artists.
Cristian S. Aluas
Cristian S. Aluas (or CSA) is a full-time artist living and working in Ottawa. Cristian has always been an artist and has been selling artwork since arriving into Canada at the age of nine. He attended the prestigious Canterbury Arts High School, majoring in Visual Arts. He was accepted into the Algonquin College Animation-Television Program and graduated with a Diploma. After College, CSA spent two years studying Painting at Concordia University in Montreal. CSA has always excelled in Life Drawing. In 2001, he came back to Ottawa to pursue a career as a professional artist. Over the past few years, CSA has produced numerous art exhibits, has published books and CDs, has done graphic design, has promoted other artists, has conducted art lessons, and has sold paintings and sculptures to a variety of clients and companies. Adam F. Davidson
Adam F Davidson has had recent success within the Ottawa community, bridging his skills with the Ottawa School of Art, CSA, and Art Kollectif Media as well as submissions to international and national web-sites, zines, journals and independent collections. By calling himself an artist/poet he also dabbles in other mediums and interests.

Dennis N. Vance
"I am from Ottawa. I am a painter, illustrator, and printmaker. During the past couple of years, I have been making monotype prints. In this method I paint onto a copper plate and make only one proof, so all stand as original copies. The scenes are from the Ottawa Valley area. I hope to give the viewer a sense of wonder and awe and that you can feel the majestic beauty of Canada’s nature. Hope you enjoy my work! Thanks."
Craig Poirier
In his most resent work craigpoirier.ca draws upon images and archetypes of martyr's embraced in the 20th century. He translates these symbols into a 21st century new world order framework sometimes going so far as to placing himself in the shoes of the martyr, making public the necessity of sacrifice in our social scheme.
